12U Head Coach:
Brad Simon

Coach Simon is an experienced and decorated hockey player coming from the University of Maryland and inducted into the ACC Hockey League Hall of Fame in 2014. Coach Simon played at Maryland from 1999-2003 and was assigned the Team Captain from 2001-2003. During his time, he received the ACCHL Tournament MVP award and led his team to two ACCHL championships. Coach Simon has a specific focus on power-skating and advanced edgework development and is a true skills coach for players at all levels. His previous coaching experiences include ages 8U to 14U at the house, select, and travel hockey (A1 and AA) levels. Recently, coach Simon was appointed as the skills, strength, and conditioning coach of the Texas A&M University Men’s Ice Hockey Team.

14U Head Coach:
Derrek Harper

Coach Harper grew up in British Columbia, played junior hockey in BCJHL and WHL then played professionally for the Jacksonville Bullets (SHL), the Tulsa Oilers (CHL), Memphis RiverKings (CHL), and Wichita Thunder (CHL).  has coached various levels of youth hockey up to Midget AAA.

Harper is the former Head Coach of the Texas A&M University Ice Hockey program.

16U Head Coach:
Darryl Bootland

Former National Hockey League player for the Detroit Red Wings and New York Islanders, Coach Bootland is an experienced and intense coach that we are grateful to have in our organization.

Bootland played in the NHL, OHL, AHL, and ECHL throughout his career (just to name a few leagues) and brings a great deal of knowledge to our young players about what it takes to be a true competitor in the game of hockey.
